ock-chain combinations are an excellent choice when it comes to securing motorbikes and scooters. there are usually plenty of attachment options on the wheels and frame for securing them to a fixed object. a motorbike that is secured in this way cannot simply be picked up and carried away – which is a real security advantage. it may also be possible to use a combination of a brake disk lock and a chain.

tips:

- this lock can be ordered keyed alike to other locks. this means several locks would match one key, respectively key code
- chain lock combinations are a very good solution for locking a motorbike to a fixed object
- the loop chain permits a very efficient use of the chain length
- very handy use because only one end of the chain must be locked
- two in one lock that means that the brake disc lock can also be used without the chain
- the chain has a special end link and can only be used in combination with the detecto 8077 brake disc lock
- please note that the chain combination does not necessarily fit on the same brake discs like the lock alone
- to limit the possibilities of brutal attacks it is recommendable to avoid that the chain lays on or hangs close to the ground

A lot of my friends (bikers) have ABUS locks. That's why I decided to buy this one. The quality is a good. I like this lock and chain! Also, I would like to buy one more ABUS lock for rear wheel for double protection. :) It was delivered to Ukraine a bit more than in two weeks. I recommend!

Nice lock + chain combo

Well this is Abus lock+chain combo: strong, nice and works well. All as expected. This specific lock+chain combo can be mounted either on the brake rotor without the chain, or on the chain that comes with it. Chain has to bee looped on itself. So you sort of have both solutions in one: chained lock and a brake-rotor lock. I even have a feeling that it's possible to lock it on the chain and on the front rotor at the same time. Alarm is loud indeed and is removable from the lock. But it will only engage if there is something depressing the "ball" part. I.e. there will be no alarm, if you don't close the lock on the rotor. This also allows to transport a closed lock without triggering the alarm. The "ball" part is actually plastic lever and is a part of the alarm mechanism. Lock+chain combo comes with two keys and a pouch for the lock which can be used to store it under the seat. One key has a light in it. Overall: would recommend.

The feeling when you unlock the lock is that it is of high quality, everything feels solid and thoughtful. The simple function that makes it feel that there is a brake disc and then activates the alarm is a top feature, no extra man has to get started without everything taking care of himself. You feel calm that the bike should be in the same place where you leave it.
