Made of full grain leather and suede, with a 100% Alpinestars waterproof membrane. Light and comfortable, the J-6 Waterproof have Motocross derived ergonomic protection in the heel and ankle.
Main features:
Upper in full grain leather combined with suede.
Integrated 100% waterproof membrane that prevents the external humidity from penetrating the shoe.
Tongue and upper part of the ankle in leather for greater comfort and durability.
Motocross derived ergonomic protection in the heel and ankle with double density disk and padded lining for greater flexibility and protection.
Removable, double composite anatomical insole that includes EVA foam and Lycra for greater performance, comfort and support.
Metal lace holes for greater resistance.
Moulded rubber sole for greater stability and grip.

je cherchais une paire de chaussures moto avec un style passe partout .elle sont superbes,le cuir respire la qualité et le confort est impeccable. j avais precedement acheté des ixon akron qui se sont avérés tres inconfortables a cause d une doublure mal concue qui pliait et faisait mal au devant de la cheville.avec les J-6 c est le jour et la nuit. je vais rajouter un bloque lacet car il n y a pas de languette pour eviter aux lacets de se prendre dans le selecteur. et les ranger dans la chaussure ca tiens pas avec le vent et les mouvements du pieds.note a alpinestar,pour les prochains modeles ,ajoutez un renfort selecteur discret,un scratch pour fixer les lacets et vous aurez le ticket gagnant
Good mix of protection and everyday usability

I was looking for a motorcycle boot that combined a good level of protection with wearability and walkability. In the past I have had boots which offered excellent protection (from impacts as well as the wet) but were difficult to live with in terms of walking any distance, attending events etc. The advantage of these is that, in addition to their sturdy biking functionality, they are comfortable enough to walk in and look enough like a casual shoe to wear around town or at meetings. So far very satisfied.
