For the price it is a good quality product, the zippers fit very well. It is not just a one-piece plastic, on the sides it has grids to perspire, they are placed inside the arm to prevent water from entering, although I believe that in floods something will enter. Of course, it is not intended for such situations. Also the light and folded one fits in the back pocket of the enduro jacket.

Price really betrays the quality of this product in a good way, really tough waterproof material with essential vented areas. Sizing is bob on with enough space to wear over armoured jacket, haven’t had to wear it in anger yet but have no doubts on its ability.

Yes there is mesh fabric on the sides, and yes it is not completely waterproof especially during heavy rain. It still works for light rain while riding slow.
