With the help of the inserts it fits without moving on an auxiliary bar. Just be careful to order the option of the size you need. There are three sizes available and this one is for 3/8 to 5/8 bars. In the description it appears as 3/8´´- 5/8´´ 1´´ but the final part does not imply that it is for 1 inch bars, it refers to the fact that the Ram ball is 1 inch (size B)
