well the boots are solid as rock. you should have expected this from motocross clothing brand. i have literally kicked a boulder to test them and my feet felt almost nothing. that is actually also a downside of these boots. you have no feel of brake and gear switch lever. in my previous boots i could play with the lever with tip of my toes but now i can only guess if i pushed or pulled the lever. i can confirm the boots are splash proof. riding wet streets after a heavy rain was a pleasure. i mean compared to my old alpinestars that soaked in every drop ,from my front wheel. walking the streets in them also felt nice. they are hard, but not heavy. briefly: +: solid, splashproof, hard -: less feeling
