As versatile jacket as you will find

It is hard to fault this jacket in any way. It is conceived as a universal layered jacket that can be reconfigured according to the season and even changing weather during the ride. Gore Tex vest can be packed in the back pocket and brought to the ride, giving instantly a highest level of water resistance should it be required. The fact that the layers are independent means they can be used at destination and also underneath other garments- for example skiing or hiking jacket. Jacket is well cut ( if you like them short) and adjustable so it is advisable to go to the larger size if you are in between sizes. Key measurement is chest circumference I'd say. Ventilation is great panel design offers great flexibility although I haven't tried it in hot weather yet. Also it remains to be seen how breathable goretex layer is when it is hot and wet. There are not many weaknesses with this jacket. Perhaps the armour could have been of a higher spec (l2). Personally I would also like to see greater color variety as opposed to the black dominated scheme but that is a matter of taste. All in all if you are looking for versatile and good quality jacket Dolomiti Is hard to beat especially at the current price point.
